A place to grow

We are an expanding group practice of clinicians who are passionate about helping our patients learn about themselves and grow. As such, we are dedicated to improving ourselves individually and as a team. Our group of clinicians meets regularly to discuss cases, we are committed to attending regular trainings, and we are in constant discussion about how to improve our practice to better serve the needs of our patients. We are looking for clinicians who are committed to group practice in that they are team-oriented, collaborative, and creative in their approach to helping us grow.

Current openings

1. Postdoctoral Fellowship (Part-time)

Opening is for a two-year part-time postdoctoral fellowship (limited permit PhD and PsyD are eligible) in a growing group practice in New York City. Fee for service will increase after 1st year.

2. Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Full-Time)

Opening is for a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD/PhD) in a growing group practice in New York City. Fee for service (65/35 split) with an opportunity to transition to an annual salary after 1st year, if desired.

 

Both positions will be a combination of virtual and in-person individual and couples therapy in Flatiron, Manhattan. Flexible start-date after March 1, 2025. Create your own schedule. At least 1 day/week in-person is required. Our practice serves adult clientele, with a special focus on perinatal mental health and couples therapy. Couples training (postdoc) and group supervision (licensed psychologist) will be from an EFT lens with an emphasis on psychodynamic (object relations) case conceptualization.

You're an ideal candidate for either position if you have:

  • Prior couples therapy experience​

  • Completion of or plans to complete EFT Externship is a plus!

  • Passion for working with couples and deepening understanding of EFT

  • Interest in the perinatal population and relational psychodynamic therapy

  • Commitment to a group practice--helping it grow alongside your own professional development

  • Flexibility in terms of a gradual ramp-up to a full caseload

    • Postdoc: part-time caseload = 12 patients

    • Licensed psychologist: full-time caseload = 22 patients

  • Interest in a fee-for-service payment structure

    • Postdoc: ~100/session, with opportunity to increase in 2nd year

    • Licensed psychologist: 65/35 split, with an opportunity to transition to an annual salary after 1 year commitment

  • Ability to provide both in-person (in Flatiron, Manhattan) and virtual therapy

Training + benefits includes:

  • 1:1 Supervision​ with an emphasis on developing a professional identity and personal style (postdocs)

  • EFT peer consultation/group supervision

  • Reimbursement for additional training: EFT Externship and/or Core Skills Training; PSI Perinatal Training

  • ​Use of in-person office in Flatiron, Manhattan at least 1 day/week

  • Make your own schedule; Flexible start date

  • At least a 2-year commitment (with a fee bump after 1st year)

  • **Position does not include medical benefits or an annual salary**

    • Health benefits and an annual salary may become available in 2nd year and beyond for licensed psychologists
